The Walkden Town Centre redevelopment, commissioned by the Derwent Group, involves the demolition of Victoria Square and Egerton Walk elements, along with the refurbishment of existing unit frontages to create new external elevations for units within Use Class E. This redevelopment includes Sui Generis drinking establishments, which will face newly developed external areas, including the creation of a vibrant shopping boulevard serving the town centre. The project will introduce a dynamic new shopping and leisure destination with enhanced external amenity spaces, revitalising the heart of Walkden Town Centre.
