Trident, is an office-to-residential conversion completed in 2020. The project added a new penthouse floor on top of the original 8 floors, creating modern living spaces within the Factory Estates development.

Trident, located in Sale, Manchester, is a distinctive project within the Factory Estates development. Completed in 2020 after 18 months of work, this project involved an office-to-residential conversion, utilising Permitted Development Rights to transform the building’s existing structure into high-quality residential units. The original structure, which comprised 8 floors, was enhanced with the addition of a new floor, featuring a collection of luxurious penthouses on top the building. This was made possible by an additional planning application to increase the building’s height by one storey, allowing for the creation of these new-build penthouses at the existing roof level. The Trident project showcases innovative design and thoughtful planning, offering modern living spaces while preserving the building’s original character.
